Member of Dark Skies Bright Kids at the Department of Astronomy, University of Virginia, an outreach program bringing astronomy to elementary and middle school kids through hands-on activities and stargazing events.
Leadership
Apr 2023 – May 2025
Served as Executive Head (Apr 2023 – Jun 2024) and then President (Jun 2024 – May 2025). Organized talks, telescope sessions, astronomy fests, and other events for the university community and communities around Ashoka University. Also organized India's first student astronomy conference. Highlight of my undergrad.
Teaching
May – Jun 2024
Teaching Assistant for the astronomy course taught by Dr. Aswin Sekhar of the Paris Observatory. Conducted observational astronomy sessions for grade 12 students and explained undergraduate astronomy at the high school level. Also continued in Sep–Dec 2024 with the Continued Mentorship Initiative, supporting students in academic and professional development.
Curriculum
Dec 2022 – Jul 2023
Collaborated with Madhukar Soni to develop an astronomy curriculum for school students, designed around a self-sustaining business model so it could keep running without depending on grants.
Citizen Science
2019 – 2025
Long-time Zooniverse contributor (Planet Hunters, Disk Detective Advanced User, Muon Hunter Classic, Local Group Cluster Search). Also contributed to the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (NASA), International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, and The VASCO Citizen Science Project.

Secretary of the Delhi Local Committee of the International Association of Physics Students. Coordinated events and represented the committee within the broader IAPS network.
